Piestewa Peak recreation area, which contains the Dreamy Draw Recreation area, Camelback Mountain, Papago Park, Lookout Mountain Preserve, North Mountain, South Mountain, and Shaw Butte Preserves.
Hiking Trails, Bicycle, Horse Trails, and Wildlife. You can picnic at the foot of the mountains.
Solitude awaits, though it may be crowded at the trailhead on weekend mornings. This urban escape is always close to you in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.
