It's officially been two weeks since Chicago and the State of Illinois have been under a Stay at Home Order due to the Covid-19 virus.
Not being able to see friends and family has been difficult but nothing compared to what the victims most affected by this terrible virus have been going through. I hope we can begin to get the needed supplies and equipment to our hospitals and medical professionals soon so that they can safely deal with this pandemic.
Up to this point, we have been able to go out on walks for food, medicine and fresh air as long as we practiced social distancing. Yesterday, though, Mayor Lightfoot of Chicago shutdown our lakefront and adjacent parks due to large crowds of people using the beaches, trails, basketball courts, playing soccer, etc..
I was able to go on morning walks to the lakefront to photograph the sunrise but that will have to be stopped for the immediate future. I will, instead, concentrate on morning walks through my neighborhood.
I will also use my time to update the website with more photos that I have taken over 2019.
Everyone, please stay safely at home and hopefully virus-free.
